Job Requirement:

Qualified chartered accountant with a Degree in Accountancy and or equivalent professional qualifications.

With at least 5+ years of relevant experience in audit firm/multinational corporations
-
Well-versed in performing internal control and sound knowledge of risks and controls in an organization.

Familiar with Financial reporting
-
Experience in Taxation laws, budgeting and forecasting.

Experience in multi-currency treasury & cashflow management, foreign currency revaluation and analysis.

Process Improvement and re-engineering
-
Good understanding of Cross-cultural issues faced by companies operating in Asia • Excellent commercial awareness & business acumen. looks beyond Finance boundaries.

Strong in critical thinking and analytical ability, proactive in articulating ideas

In Depth Performance and Risks Driven Data Analysis

Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Skills

Job Responsibilities:
-
Prepare consolidated financial reports and business performance reports for various stakeholders, including analysis and liaising with outsourced accounting firms
-
Facilitate the annual budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting, forecasts and budgets. Monitor revenue and expenses and enforce budget accountability when necessary

Prepare and/or review full sets of accounts (Accounts payable and receivable functions, GL and Fixed Assets functions)

Review sales, receipts and bank reconciliation

Review monthly bank reconciliations
-
Liaise with external auditors, preparation of financial statements and audit schedules
-
Liaise with company secretarial and bankers for company corporate and banking matters respectively
-
Liaise with tax agents, review tax computations, and assist with tax queries from the tax authorities
-
Liaise with internal departments on finance matters
-
Manage and assist to implement good internal controls and SOP
-
Perform administrative and other ad-hoc duties and reporting (including any system migration/implementation, new businesses, reconciliation) as assigned by the Deputy CEO
